In 1709 the first known cricket match was held in America.

That's right: cricket came here before it reached Northern England, and almost anywhere else in the world. 

Cricket was once the most popular sport in the USA, even post independence.

At 1709 Cricket, we want to grow our favorite sport and help it achieve the place it deserves in the USA.

We’re not formally affiliated with USA Cricket, MLC, or MiLC, but we support them all and work with them to help develop and capture fan support.

We strive to bring cricket closer to the fans. 

And we strive to bring together all the participants in the USA cricket ecosystem.

We do this through
