Amazing Team Effort Gives USA 169-Run Win!
The USA Men won the first ODI in the Tri-Series with a resounding 169-run defeat of Canada.
This was an incredible team effort all around. Batting first, USA put up a monster total of 361 runs, behind the incredible centuries of opener Smit Patel (152* off 137 with 16 boundaries) — his first international century — and Milind Kumar (115* off 67 with 17 boundaries and an astonishing strike rate of 172). Smit and Milind combined for a 208 run partnership.
Additional Contributions came from Monank Patel (47 off 44) and Saiteja Mukkamalla (30 off 45).
The 6-man bowling attack held Canada to 192, with impressive spells from everyone. Sanjay Krishanmurthi took 3 wickets in under 4 overs. Harmeet Singh, Nosh Kenjige and Milind Kumar took 2 wickets each, Jessy Singh took one, and Saurabh Netravalkar bowled 7 overs with an economy of under 3.6
